Freeport-McMoRan employees, family members and the surrounding communities came together to celebrate the Fourth of July across the company\u2019s North America sites.<\/p>\n

There was something for everyone. Activities included water kickball, inflatable water slides and bounce houses, dive-in movies, disc golf, cookouts and parades spotlighting local businesses, youth organizations, and local police and fire departments. And, of course, there were fireworks displays near some sites.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur mining community celebrations are unforgettable,\u201d said Christopher Svenson, Manager-Hydromet Plant at Bagdad (previously Health and Safety Manager), whose team participated in events hosted at the site. \u201cIt\u2019s fantastic that the company sponsored our team to create a float, fostering teamwork and community spirit while celebrating our country\u2019s independence.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt does not get better than this.\u201d<\/p>\n
